Wendy Michelle found herself completely centered and effortlessly grounded in triangle pose surrounded by books, in a downtown Atlanta library and fell in love immediately with yoga. She has been practicing ever since and became Yoga Alliance registered at the 200 hour level shortly thereafter in Kashi Atlanta’s Classical Yoga Teachers Training in 2003. She's studied Vinyasa Flow, Anusara and Power Yoga with Shiva Rea and Kathryn Budig as well as countless other teachers all over the country. An advocate for finding movement that feels good in your body and feeds your soul; she enjoys introducing yoga to both adults and children equally, acting as a guide. Acknowledging how meaningful yoga has been to her in her adult years, she only wishes she had the good fortune to find it earlier; in her youth! She became certified as a children's yoga instructor to ensure little ones don't have to wait as long as she did. She's unfurled her mat at corporations and workplaces such as Children's Hospital of Atlanta, ING, Coca-Cola, AMC Theaters and United Healthcare, inner-city health clinics, jails, senior centers, summer camps, universities, charter schools and even more intimate settings like lifestyle retreat centers and private homes. Wendy Michelle was even asked to be a Guest Yoga Instructor for O Magazine’s “Hi Gorgeous” Tour in 2004 in Atlanta. With her simple, spiritual and accessible teaching style you'll find her at resorts, fitness centers and private residences in the Napa Valley guiding individuals, couples and groups towards strength, flexibility and freedom.
